iitbbs.ac.in Junior Research Fellowship announced by Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bhubaneswar, is now inviting the applicants along with their filled applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF). This fellowship is purely on time bound basis for the research project entitled “Multiscale analysis of circulation and variability in the North-Western Bay of Bengal using HF radar observations” undertaken in the School of Earth, Ocean & Climate Sciences of this Institute. Those applicants who are interested kindly submit their applications before the due date.
Fellowship details:

  • The duration of the Fellowship is for 1 year and it might be extended for another 1 year on the satisfactory performance of the applicant.
  • The total number of Post are 1
  • Fellows will be provided with fellowship as per norms.


  • Eligible candidates must have scored minimum 60% or 6.5 CGPA in M.Sc/ M.Tech. in Physics/ Mathematics/ Atmospheric and Ocean Sciences/ Climate Sciences with Mathematics at UG level as major/minor with good academic career
  • Candidates must have valid NET/ GATE score.
  • Candidates must have good Knowledge of computer programming.
