Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar invites Fellows for Junior Research Fellowship, 2015

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bhubaneswar, invites young and talented applicants with their filled in application and relevant documents for the posts of Junior Research Fellow (JRF). This fellowship is purely on time bound basis for the research project entitled “Simulation of Coastal Processes on the North-West Bay of Bengal” undertaken in the School of Earth, Ocean & Climate Sciences of this Institute. All applicants are informed that they need to fill the application for the JRF in a prescribed format and submit the same before the closing date.
Fellowship details:

  • The duration of this Fellowship is for 2 Years  and it may be extended for another one year according to the fellow’s performance.
  • The total number of Posts are 2
  • The selected fellows will be provided with fellowship as per the university norms.


  • Fellows must have score minimum 60% or 6.5 CGPA in M.Sc./ M.Tech. in Physics/Mathematics/Atmospheric and Ocean Sciences/Climate Sciences with Mathematics at UG level as major/minor with good academic career.
  • Fellows must have the valid NET/ GATE score.
  • Fellows must have the good knowledge of computer programming.
