www.du.ac.in Apply Duplicate Degree Certificate from DELHI UNIVERSITY
To apply for the duplicate degree certificate the candidates needs to apply for the application form , which has to be filled with the prescribed format. To know more kindly read below:
Important Instruction for Candidates For Issue Of Duplicate Copy Of University Diploma/degree/certificate :
1. The forms must be filled in a prescribed manner and signed by the candidate itself.
2. The form should be submitted at the concerned the Head of the College, Hall or Institution through which the candidate appeared at the said examination and the duplicate copy will be delivered through the concerned institution.
3. A duplicate copy of the diploma degree or certificate will be issued on submission of and affidavit signed by a First Class Magistrate together with an attested copy of the F.I.R. lodged with the nearest Police Station to this effect by the candidate on the grounds that either the original diploma, degree or certificate has been irrecoverably lost destroyed or defaced and on payment of the fee prescribed.
4. In very special case subsequent copies of the diploma, degree or certificate may be issued for not more that four times, on submission of an affidavit signed and certified by a First Class Magistrate to the effect that the diploma, degree or certificate issued previously by the University has been lost or destroyed, and on payment of the same fee as are prescribed for the issued of duplicate copy.
Fee Structure :
Till 10 years- Rs. 600/- per statement of marks
After 10 years- Rs. 1000/- per statement of marks
Fee can be deposited by cash, Postal order or by Demand Draft. (Payable at Delhi, in favor of Registrar, University of Delhi, Delhi- 110007)
Important Documents Required :
An Affidavit on a Non-judicial stamp paper of the value of Rs. 10/ which has to be signed by a First Class Magistrate.
An Attested copy of the F.I.R. lodged with the nearest Police Station mentioning that the original diploma, degree or certificate has been irrecoverably lost, destroyed or defaced.
Verification required :
Verify the filed document from the Head of the Department/ Principal of college or Institution with stamp and signature.
9.30 AM to 3.00 PM Payment is to be made between 9.30 A.M. to 12.30 P.M.

Certificate will be issued within 10 days except Saturday or Sunday or any other holiday.
Kindly Note :-
1.The number of year will be calculated from the last Examination passed.
2.Applicant needs to enclose a self-addressed envelope with applicable postal charges in case of certificate required by post
3.The Application form must be signed by the Candidate and in no case by someone else on his/her behalf.
